🌱 Celebrating a Major Milestone!
Beech Park Golf Club is delighted to be associated with the 100 Million Trees Project. The project is the brainchild of the Mulcahy family, Richard, David, and Tina. The project has a simple but powerful vision, to plant 100 million native trees across our island, restoring biodiversity, capturing carbon, and reconnecting people with nature.
It is aimed at anyone - individuals, community and sporting groups who may have a small amount of land available (c. ¼ acre) and who would like to be part of this wonderful initiative.
On 15th April 2026, 2,500 native trees were planted at Beech Park Golf Club, comprising fifteen native species, creating the birth of a small native forest. One significant tree, a native Oak, became the 1 millionth tree planted here under the project. Our club is proud and honoured to be its home.
Congratulations to Richard, David, and Tina on reaching this significant milestone.
A big shoutout to all the volunteers and visitors who turned up on the day to make it an enormous success. Thank you all.

Nestled in the great Johnstown Kennedy Estate, Beech Park took its name from the centuries old beech trees that line its fairways. Designed by the great Eddie Hackett, the natural landscape of the estate and the remnants of the old estate, such as stone walls and old French drains, combine to make Beech Park unique and creates a beautiful walk around the course.
