Welcome to Beech Park Golf club, in the interest of all golfers the following rules apply to ensure that your time with us is enjoyable and safe.
Golf etiquette and smart casual attire is expected at all times. Team or ring neck tee shirts, shorts above the knee, runners without spikes are not acceptable. Soft spiked golf shoes only. No mobile phones allowed on the golf course. Anybody in breach of the above rules may be asked to leave the course.
Please do not drive golf buggies or trolleys on to tee boxes. Buggies must not be driven closer than 10 yards from the edge of greens.

Outside the boundary of the golf course.
Right of 11th and 14th as defined by white stakes.
Car park, putting green, chipping green and driving bays as defined by white stakes.
Concrete buggy parking area in front of old shed on left of 10th / 18th fairways, ball must be found inside defined area to be OOB.
Scratching post in middle of 1st is an integral part of the golf course, no relief.
Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions.
Ball is to be played as it lies with the exception of Greens, GUR or if claiming relief under penalty.
A ball embedded in its owns pitch-mark, with the exception of sand, may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to where it lay but not nearer the hole.
All tarmac paths, benches, sprinkler heads, drain covers, inspection hatches, bell on 9th, staked trees are immovable obstructions and relief is available under rule 24-2. Drop ball within one club length, nearest point of relief not nearer the hole without penalty. Please note that the nearest point of relief from some paths on 10th , 11th , 13th may mean that you will drop into the woods if seeking relief from path. Staked trees and bell on 9th allow relief plus one club length.
Abnormal ground conditions caused by machinery, drainage works, excessive traffic is deemed to be ground under repair and relief is available under rule 25-1.
The practice area, as defined by blue stakes, between 6th / 7th may be used prior to stroke play competitions. A ball coming to rest within this area from normal play, must be played without relief, rule 33-2c, this includes the practice bunker.
Bridges. A water hazard carries up above the ground. If your ball comes to rest on the bridge above the hazard, hazard rules apply. If your ball is not inside hazard markers then path relief applies.
Slow play must be avoided at all times, if you have lost your position on the course, one hole, please call the group behind through.
Water hazards marked with red stakes are lateral, relief under penalty of two club lengths from point of entry, yellow stakes as far back as you like from point of entry. You may claim relief from lateral hazard on right of 6th green under penalty by dropping either side, not nearer the hole.
